This basic level course introduces, in a user orientated way, the use of vibration analysis and associated techniques and just how and what they can be used to detect.  It includes basic theory, methods for helping to decide the best technique(s), applications to different levels (criticality) of equipment, using contractors or training staff, frequency of monitoring, feedback requirements and dealing with equipment identified as ‘failing’.
