An Introduction to Condition Based Maintenance

Intrusive maintenance re-introduces the threat of the failure mode known as infant mortality.  Condition Based Maintenance (CBM) and its primary tool Condition Monitoring (CM) work on the basis that; ‘if it ain’t broke don’t fix it’. 

This course explores where CBM might be utilised, how it should be integrated into a maintenance regime, how/who can implement it, the importance of trending and some of the common techniques that are often overlooked as well as some of the more advanced techniques and their usage. 

The course is aimed at those considering using CBM for the first time or those feeling the CM they are currently doing could be delivering better results.
